I love to dress

Those people who know me would know that i am a big believer in the power of dressing. Simply put I love to be well dressed, all the time. Now when I say well dressed, I do not mean being in formal clothes, expensive cloths, branded clothes and the likes. My personal dressing mantra is simple, I like to dress to look good.

Actually I can "blame" my mother for my dressing sense. Ever since I was a toddler, my mother used to dress me in frocks, matching socks and shoes. Hair neatly combed and tied/ clipped back. I guess the proper dressing got to me since then. You know even today I must have my shoes matching with (or more realistically complimenting) my outfit. Even my earrings have to match my clothes.

Like I said earlier, I love to experiment with my clothes. Basically my variety of clothes is very wide. I have things from 5-6 yrs old together with my latest purchases in my cupboards. I am not into brands or even specific shops. I am a self-proclaimed opportunistic shopper. When I see something I absolutely love, I get it. (the price being right that is). As I've said in an earlier post, i have tops bought for $2!! So yea for me anything goes as long as I love it.

Basically I have a habit of deciding my entire outfit the night before. So I literally raid my closet every night, trying to find something comfortable, stylish and flattering. I then raid my shoe collection for that "perfect" pair of footwear. I also look through my earrings for the right pair. Lay everything out and simply put it all together in the morning.

Now I'll be lying if I say i don't wear any make up. My staple make up is very simple. Eyebrow pencil, lipstick/ lipgloss and the most important eyeliner! Special occasions have special requirements!

At the end of the day, the person you are depends on your personality and character, clothes are simply the packaging. Remember you only get one chance to make the first impression!
